
At present the Faculty carries out dynamic international activity according to the following directions:

inter-institutional cooperation with related faculties of foreign universities and the largest international scientific centers;

the training of researchers for foreign countries;
-
participation in the international projects and programs;
-
organization of students’ exchange, educational- introductory practice;
-
the reception of foreign delegations;
-
cooperation with foreign companies and firms;
-
keeping in touch with the Faculty’s graduates working abroad.
The main form of scientific and educational cooperation with foreign partners is the inter-institutional cooperation. The Faculty makes bilateral agreements with related faculties of foreign universities along with an active participation in inter-institutional scientific and cultural projects. Today there are 11 agreements providing the realization of joint researches, academic exchanges, organization of bilateral conferences and workshops, etc. The Faculty plans to sign direct contracts with the universities of France, Germany and Bulgaria.
The Faculty has relationships with many faculties of universities and international organizations in Asia, Europe and the USA. The foreground direction is the cooperation with the faculties of the CIS universities. Having vast and stable international contacts the Faculty organizes the international scientific and practical conferences, workshops and round-table meetings with the leading foreign experts.
Since the date of the Faculty foundation the training of specialists for foreign countries has been carried out here. Today 21 students from China and Vietnam are studying at the Faculty, as well as the undergraduates and post-graduate students from Vietnam, China and Iraq. The total number of the foreign graduates including the CIS graduates at the Faculty exceeds 100.
The Faculty has good relationships with many large foreign computer companies, such as Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, etc.
Laboratories organized at the Faculty are actively used in the process of education to proliferate the modern information technologies.
The Dean's office makes a point of the academic mobility development of the Faculty scientists within the framework of projects and programs financed by the foreign organizations and funds, such as TEMPUS, Erasmus Mundus, DAAD, cooperation project "Poland-Belarus-Ukraine", etc. Annually up to 30 Professors and leading researchers of the Faculty go abroad for lecturing, scientific investigations and participation in the international conferences.

EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITHIN ERASMUS+

To participateinthe program aprospectivestudent should be familiar with systems and control theory and working toward their diploma or master thesis within thesesubjects. Appropriate English language skills (B2-level) are arequirement. Bachelor level students are required to have B1-level in German. There isthe possibility to attend an intensive German Course while beingat the University of Stuttgart. Typically a mobility stay inStuttgart should be for six months, starting in September or October 2018.

EXCHANGE PROGRAM WITHIN ERASMUS+
Master and PhD students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science of BSU are invited to participate in ERASMUS+ credit mobility program with the University of Stuttgart, Germany, for the summer semester 2017/18.
The coordinating institute at the University of Stuttgart for this program is the Institute for Systems Theory and Automatic Control.
To participate in the program a prospective Master or PhD student should be familiar with systems and control theory and working toward their thesis within these subjects. Appropriate English language skills (B2-level) are a requirement. Some German language knowledge is a plus. There is the possibility to attend an intensive German Course while being at the University of Stuttgart. Typically a mobility stay in Stuttgart should be for six months including the teaching period for the summer semester (April 9 to July 21, 2018).
